So, after signing up on Kismia, I realized that the profiles tend to vary qualitatively. While some profiles were detailed, others were just too vague. Of course, it is not rare to come across generic pictures or vague descriptions on dating apps.
But the problem is that too many accounts with generic photos and vague descriptions make things appear very fake. And that is the problem with Kismia.
Having said that, I was pleased to find that I could report any account that appeared to be fake or shady. Moreover, people who have difficulty finding the right conversation starters can opt for the Smart Messages feature that allows users to start conversations with potential connections.
Overall, the platform has helpful tools that are made for seeking serious relationships, but most people on Kismia are looking for flings and casual relationships.

Moreover, Kismia doesn’t clearly clarify how the charge appears on a user’s bank statement. As a result, if you want to opt for discreet billing, then it’s best to contact customer support directly.
Can You Use Kismia For Free?
You can use Kismia for free, but to a certain extent. The app has certain features available for free. However, without a premium plan, you can’t access features such as messaging other users.
And if you can’t text for free on a dating app, why even install it in the first place? Also, I didn’t appreciate how premium plans are always on auto-renewal with no guarantee of meeting a specific number of potential matches.
So, yes, you can use Kismia for free. With the free plan, you can send some messages for free and read only the first few messages that you receive.
Cancellation Policy On Kismia
So, if you think that uninstalling Kismia from your phone will help you cancel a subscription, you are wrong.
In that case, how can you cancel your subscription?
- You can choose to cancel your subscription from profile settings.
- Also, you can do so through an app store subscription.
Since the paid subscription for Kismia renews automatically, it is best to check out the notice period for backing out of auto-renewal. As far as I know, it is 24 hours.
Please note that you will not get a full refund in case you cancel a subscription after paying. But if you do it really early and are able to convince customer support, they will return some money and reduce the credits on your account.

And if you just want to use this app for free, then you can circle back to Bumble or Hinge. While this is an underrated dating app, it is not that great of a dating platform.
