How many likes do you get on Tinder

Today’s Topic: How many likes do you get on Tinder?

Obviously, if you think you are not getting enough likes on your Tinder profile, then it can seriously impact your confidence levels. And that’s not cool. Are you doing something wrong, or is it the algorithm screwing with you?

And then there are people who end up hitting their daily likes limit on Tinder – and that, my friends, is a bigger problem. In that case, either your profile is just not strong enough, or you are not being selective enough. Why swipe on everyone when you can prioritize quality?

And that is precisely why I am here to help you understand how to get more likes on Tinder with my personal guide to help you move from 0 to 50 likes in a day.

Stay tuned.

How Many Likes Do You Get On Tinder?

The number of likes a person gets depends on different factors, including their location and profile. Also, your status as a premium or free user plays a part. I’ll tell you how. So, free users on Tinder typically obtain 50 to 100 likes every day. However, premium users enjoy unlimited likes.

In addition, women tend to get more likes than men, with average numbers running from 30 to 50 likes daily for women and 5 to 10 likes daily for men. Thanks to Google, we were able to obtain the numbers. This gender balance is typically attributed to the app having more men than women to begin with.

In this context, it is also important to note the primary factors that influence likes on Tinder.

  1. Profile Quality: Attractive pictures, well-crafted bios, and a profile complete with all details can significantly improve the total number of likes you get on Tinder in a day.
  1. Location: Users who are located in highly populated regions will get more likes on Tinder as compared to people living in sparsely populated regions.
  1. User Demographics: Younger users on Tinder might get more likes compared to older users. This is also true for users who are conventionally more attractive.
  1. App Activity: Finally, the algorithm of Tinder also influences the overall likes that a user gets, depending on their activity on the app. Moreover, how you engage with Tinder also plays a role.

When Do Tinder Likes Reset?

The reset timing for Tinder likes is not the same for everyone – it tends to vary depending on certain factors. So, if you are using the free version of Tinder, then your likes will automatically reset every 24 hours once you hit the limit for the day.

For instance, if you hit your like limit at 9 PM today, then your likes will get reset by 9 PM tomorrow

However, this is not really a strict rule, considering I have come across multiple reports on community forums about likes resetting on Tinder after 12 hours. Some reports also pointed out other patterns, making one thing obvious. The app’s algorithm considers the user’s location, activity levels, and all other factors while deciding on the rest time.

Also, if you are a user with a premium subscription like Tinder Gold, Plus, or Platinum, then you already enjoy an unlimited number of likes daily. So, the reset timing is irrelevant for premium users.

How To Avoid The Like Limit On Tinder?

If you want to bypass the like limit on Tinder, then the only legitimate thing you can do is upgrade to the premium version. With any of the premium versions, you can enjoy an unlimited number of likes.

Of course, I’m sure that there are some third-party tools and unofficial hacks out there. But remember, these go against Tinder’s Terms of Service – if caught, the app will ban you permanently.

Why Am I Not Getting Any Likes On Tinder?

Why Am I Not Getting Any Likes On Tinder_

Getting more likes on Tinder (or other dating apps) has always been a confidence booster – at least for me. But thanks to the algorithm of the app and my prolonged absence, I started getting fewer likes. And for the longest time, I couldn’t figure out what went wrong.

But obviously, after years in the dating app scene, I figured out all the possible reasons that could reduce your likes on Tinder. So, let’s check them out.

1. Bad Pictures:

This one’s REAL – even if it hurts to accept! Your pictures are literally your first impression on the dating app. Let’s be honest – doesn’t physical appearance play a major role in swiping people right?

So, you gotta pick pictures where you look hot! The wrong pictures can really impact how many likes you get on Tinder.

    2. Unimpressive Bio:

If pictures are the most important factor in this context, an impressive bio is the next thing you need to check!

You can’t have a bad or cringey bio – that will just make things worse, even if you are super attractive in your pictures. With a great photo, you might get some likes, but if the bio is bad, the quality of matches will drop as well. So, the idea is to make your bio catchy and witty – that way, you will not lose out on likes.

      3. Inactive Profile:

How exactly the algorithm of Tinder works is a complete mystery. But what is not is that most inactive users on the dating app simply do not get plenty of matches.

As a result, if you are inactive on the app, then it means you are not swiping much on the app. Moreover, if you do not open the app much or check your notifications enough, then you will not get plenty of likes.

        4. Not Enough People In The Area:

Certain regions have fewer Tinder users than densely populated regions with a large number of active Tinder users.

As a result, if you are located in such an area, chances are you will not get many likes. Sadly, there is not much to do if you are getting fewer likes, except try out some underrated dating apps like Coffee Meets Bagel and Tawkify

So, I find this super interesting.

Getting more likes on Tinder is super easy. But how do you get more likes? More importantly, the strategies that will work for a woman might not work for a man. So, I had to break it down for both – that way, you will know how to obtain more likes – it doesn’t matter if you think it will only work for women. It will work for everyone.

I’ve given this distinction much thought and laid out how to get more likes irrespective of your gender. Stay tuned.

          1. Good Photos Are Everything:

This is an elaborate point – and I’ll tell you how it will apply differently for men and women.

For women, you have to keep things real. So, Tinder is overcrowded with bots, fake profiles, and scammers. Tinder scams are pretty common, and catfishing is supernormal. So, it is best to avoid filters. Plus, stay away from pictures that show your face clearly. Instead, post your real picture – ensure that the quality of the pictures is good.

Also, add some variations – photos of you traveling, or doing something fun. In addition, I’ve to point out one thing. Most women avoid posting group pictures – I suggest adding one or two group pictures. So, group pictures are literally one of the best ways to confirm you are not a bot or a scammer. That way, guys will not avoid liking your pictures.

For men, it is crucial to remember that instead of adding group photos, add your solo pictures. It is better to add pictures of yourself instead of adding group photos. Moreover, quality is also important. So, the photos you are posting must be of good quality – please, guys, no blurry pictures.

It is best to take pictures in portrait mode and possibly in natural lighting – look at the camera and smile naturally.

            2. A Witty Bio Is LITERALLY All You Need:

So, here’s the thing – as a woman, quality plays a relatively more vital role than quantity. Keeping that in mind, you have to understand that your bio on Tinder can easily affect the kind of profiles you are attracting to your profile.

As a result, your bio should touch upon your interests, what you like, or you can keep things mysterious with something charming. I wanted to keep things somewhat mysterious – my bio was ‘Peter Pan in disguise.’ Of course, I had good photos and most importantly, I was active on the app.

For men, one needs to be stated clearly: you might think a good conversation starter is better than a good bio. But that’s not true.

If you don’t get a match, how will you even start talking? On Tinder, first impressions matter. So, keep it authentic, short, and witty, or you can be funny as well. Girls love guys who are authentic, funny, and smart.

              3. Be Active, Not Available:

To be honest, it’s a universal fact that women get relatively more likes than men on Tinder. And that happens primarily because Tinder is dominated by men. Thanks to Tinder’s official data, I was surprised to find out that only 24% are female users, and men? 75%!

As a result, if a woman isn’t active on the platform, she will get more likes than a man. So, as a man, you have to be more active on the app. For women, it is more about availability – you have to choose who to be active for, and who is not worth your time.

Sorry, boys, it’s just a discrepancy, not our fault.
