The concept is undoubtedly unique. And just think about it: the number of times we have all tried to save our friends from their tragic dating lives.
On most occasions, it is not really in your hands. But with Wingman, this becomes possible. Yep! Meet Wingman, the dating app that enables friends to set you up with who they think is right for you.
Yeah, it is not really your everyday typical dating app – it’s more of a matchmaking app. And it feels like handing your Tinder account to your friend and asking her to deal with it.
What sets the app apart? You cannot create a profile for yourself or even connect with others – your friend has to do it for you.
So, your romantic fate depends almost entirely on your chosen wingman. Now, that could be a total relief for some – and for others, it could be completely terrifying. It entirely depends on how an individual feels about their friends.
How Does Wingman Work?

Knowing how the Wingman app works, you have to understand that it’s a lot of effort (and steps) to actually help friends looking for casual sex. So, the chances in this case are that it will lead to serving individuals who are seeking a lasting bond.
Of course, a good friend can use this app to help you find matches for casual dating – if that’s what you need at the moment.
I really liked how the app’s design recreates how such interactions would actuall work out in real life. For insurance, isn’t it a lot like sitting at a pub and asking your friends to help you crack a cutie at the bar?
Also, in 2025, nobody has any time left. So, to expect one friend to help is a lot – that is why you can have more than one wingman to help you out.
As a result, if you are someone who is about their romantic lives with friends, then this is something you can definitely try out. Of course, everyone might not be fine with their friends or family involved in their dating lives. Obviously, being selective about finding the right wingman/wingmen is crucial.
